This policy covers ashesryeandcedar.com and the publishing tool Old Man Media LLC uses to schedule posts to its own social media accounts. Ashes, Rye & Cedar is a brand of Old Man Media LLC, a Florida company.

What this website collects

This site has no accounts, no sign ups, and no forms. We don't ask for or store personal information from visitors.

If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply to you.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Videos on the site are embedded from YouTube, and YouTube may set cookies or collect data under Google's privacy policy when you play them.

Our publishing tool and connected platforms

Old Man Media LLC runs a self hosted scheduling tool to publish content to social media accounts that we own, including our Pinterest account. The tool is for our own use only. It is not offered to the public and does not connect to anyone else's accounts.

When we connect one of our accounts to the tool, the platform (for example Pinterest) gives us an access token. We use that access only to:

• create and schedule Pins and boards on our own account
• read our own boards and basic account details needed to publish
• view performance data for our own Pins

Access tokens and scheduled content are stored on a server we control. We don't collect data about other Pinterest users, and we don't sell, rent, or share any data obtained through a platform's API with anyone.

Retention and deletion

Emails are kept as long as needed to respond. Platform access tokens are kept only while an account is connected, and are deleted when we disconnect it. You can ask us to delete any email correspondence at any time.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
